Who are we?
ASLA has over 20 years of Aviation experience and is an AOC of ASL Aviation Holdings. ASLA currently operates an all jet engine fleet, including the B737-800BCF and flexible passenger and cargo variants of the BAe146. Qualifications & experience:
* 5 years' experience working in a CAMO environment.
* Minimum of 5 year's experience in the airline industry as a Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) (desirable).
* Experience as a Form 4 Position Holder (desirable).
* Understanding of CASA Part-42.
* 5 year's experience of managing a team of professionals (desirable).
* Broad airline operational knowledge (e.g. CAMO, flight operations, engineering, ground handling).
* The successful candidate will attain comprehensive knowledge of the CAMO's exposition.
Tasks & responsibilities:
* Manage CAMO Staff in the interpretation of regulatory matters, and in addition to scheduled audits, support continued compliance with Part-42.
* Coordinate work with other departments and external organisations to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability and operational efficiency.
* Provide the interface between CAMO and other departments for airline maintenance and aircraft status information; Maintain surveillance of maintenance activities system-wide. Intervene in case of major mechanical problems, providing necessary technical support, skilled manpower, parts, tooling and planning assistance. Render management decisions in order to minimise aircraft down time.
* Manage Aircraft fleet entry / exit, registration changes; Create AMPs.
* Work with the Reliability department to identify chronic and repetitive aircraft problems and develop Action Plans for their repair. Coordinate corrective action with Engineering, Reliability and Materials Departments as required. Monitor effectiveness of Action Plans.
* Assess all Technical Publications, ADs, SBs etc.; Technical records management.
* Lead, motivate and develop the team members providing regular performance feedback, in order to maximise business results, employees' satisfaction and team productivity.
