As an out-of-school-hours care educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children outside of school hours. Our organization offers flexible shifts across multiple locations with casual and permanent part-time roles designed to fit your lifestyle.
We welcome applicants with varying levels of qualification, including those who are still working on their qualifications. A Certificate III to Diploma-level qualification in a relevant education or care field is desirable but not essential.
* Assist in the preparation and planning of developmentally appropriate programs for children.
* Create exciting and engaging activities that support the development of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
* Support children's wellbeing, independence, and sense of belonging.
* Be a positive role model and trusted adult in their day.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met.
* A passion for working with children: You thrive in creating safe, inclusive, and enriching spaces where children feel valued, heard, and supported.
* Imagination and creativity: You have fresh ideas for fun activities and creative experiences that will engage and challenge young learners.
* Teamwork: You're eager to work with a team of like-minded professionals to create a positive and supportive environment for both children and colleagues.
* Positive influence: You lead by example, showing kindness, patience, and a genuine care for the children and the community.
* Experience and qualifications: A relevant qualification (Diploma or Level 3 or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
* Qualifications include a Diploma, Cert III or IV in: Education, Care and Disability; Behavioural & Social Sciences; Community Services; Health; Allied Health; Sport & Recreation; Creative Arts.
* A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* RRHAN-EC Fundamentals & Masterclass Certificate
