Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital
In this role you will support a high performing admissions service by being the first line of support to team members in ensuring the overall integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all patient admissions and theatre bookings, while providing a personalised admissions service.
The Position
* Undertakes validation and quality control of all theatre bookings and liaises with theatre regarding theatre lists.
* Coordinates theatre bookings and related activities.
* Prints and distributes daily theatre lists and reports as required.
* Processes surgical bookings in Webpas from theatre lists received via doctors' rooms.
* Follows up missing consents day prior to admission.
* Monitors the "inbox" and files theatre lists accordingly.
* Facilitates all aspects of booking cancellations and rescheduling and informs the preadmissions clerical team.
* Assists with conducting routine quality audits.
* Liaises with patients, doctors' rooms and other key stakeholders.
* Acts as a role model, facilitating a spirit of teamwork and collegial support, ensuring a high level of patient centricity.
* Supports team members, sharing knowledge in an open and supportive manner for the benefit and knowledge development of all members of the team.
To succeed you will have sound experience working in an admissions or administrative environment and a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of theatre procedures. You will also have well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills with excellent planning and organisational ability, a high level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy, and a commitment to our Mission and Values.

* Salary: $74,627 to $78,011 per annum plus 12% superannuation
* Permanent full‑time position
