Role Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager for a full-time hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will oversee and manage TRBE's financial strategy, budgets, and forecasting. Key responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, developing and monitoring budgets, preparing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing accounting operations, and providing strategic insights to optimize business performance and growth. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications
* Advance financial and analytical skills, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
* Experience with accounting principles, reporting standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance in financial and advertising markets.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking abilities to support data-driven business decisions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
* Proven experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the finance, fintech, or marketing industries.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; a CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
* Familiarity with global finance regulations and advertising compliance standards is highly advantageous.
* Provide accurate financial insights and interpret performance indicators to support strategic decision-making and funding requirements
* Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of accounting systems and financial controls
* Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and forward-looking earnings analyses
* Evaluate capital investment proposals and assess the financial viability of operational projects
* Advise leadership on investment strategies, funding sources, and profit allocation
* Deliver long-term financial forecasts, budgeting frameworks, and performance reporting
* Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards
