About IPAR
Join IPAR and use your clinical expertise to help individuals return to health, remain at work, or start new employment. This role offers the opportunity to deliver workplace rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health coaching services while supporting a diverse range of clients across physical, psychological, and vocational domains.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct evidence-based assessments covering health, injury history, treatment, work experience, barriers, strengths, and goals
* Develop formal reports, rehabilitation programs, and return-to-work plans with clinical justification
* Deliver Health Coaching using Positivum (where applicable) based on CBT principles
* Provide injury prevention and management consultancy, including ergonomic assessments, functional capacity evaluations, and group training sessions
* Manage ongoing rehabilitation and case management, liaising with clients, employers, medical practitioners, and referring bodies
* Monitor and evaluate client progress, updating stakeholders and adjusting plans as needed
* Senior Consultants: mentor and coach colleagues, lead inductions, contribute to team knowledge, and role model IPAR values
Skills & Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, or Social Work
* Full and current registration in your discipline (provisional registration acceptable for psychologists)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, employers, insurers, and medical practitioners
* Proven ability to gather and analyse information to provide thorough assessments and recommendations
* Knowledge of worker's compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation
