About the role As a Medical Receptionist, you will act as the first and last point of contact for our patients, providing excellent service, accurate bookings of procedures over the telephone, settling patient accounts and updating patient profiles. - Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following: - A consistent Patients First focus - A genuine passion for helping people - Organisational skills - The ability to multitask in busy situations - A high degree of computer literacy - Attention to detail - The ability to work within a team of health & medical professionals - High level communication skills with the ability to converse with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds This position is Temporary Part Time for a period of up to 8 months. The role is 45 Hours per Fortnight currently worked as 7.5hrs per day on 3 days of the week; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. There is an expectation for the successful candidate to work rostered weekend hours as per the operational requirements of the branch.
