The Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking an Alumni Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of targeted engagement initiatives for graduates in their first five years after study. This role sits within the Alumni and Employer Collaboration team and plays a key role in strengthening early-career alumni connections with the University.
You will design and deliver programs, events and communications that support graduate transition, employability and lifelong engagement. Working across the University, you will connect alumni with campus-wide initiatives while ensuring activities are aligned to the Alumni Engagement Strategy and broader institutional priorities.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, use data and insights to guide decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement of alumni platforms, programs and communications.
What Success Looks Like:
* Delivering engaging programs and events that increase participation from early-career alumni.
* Building strong relationships with alumni and internal stakeholders to support coordinated engagement.
* Developing targeted communications that drive awareness, connection and participation.
* Using data and insights to measure impact and inform improvements to alumni initiatives.

About You
* Degree qualification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
* Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality client or stakeholder services with professionalism and confidentiality.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform engagement strategies.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills across digital, print and social media channels.
* Proven organisational, project and event management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
