Our organisation is seeking skilled and compassionate midwives to work in partnership with First Nations women and families across rural and remote communities.
About the Role
We are looking for registered midwives with experience in antenatal and postnatal care, ideally in a continuity of care or outreach setting. You will provide vital antenatal and postnatal care as part of a fly-in fly-out model, working in partnership with our team to support better beginnings in these communities.
The role offers attractive midwifery rates and allowances, all travel and accommodation covered, and the flexibility to nominate your own dates. This is an excellent opportunity to gain unique practice experience in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and be part of a supportive, values-driven team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registration with AHPRA
* Experience in antenatal and postnatal care, ideally in a continuity of care or outreach setting
* Passion for improving maternal health outcomes for First Nations women
* Comfortable with regular travel and FIFO work
* C Class Driver's Licence
