My client is a looking for an experienced Estimator to join their Brisbane team for the role of Head of Estimating due to recent project wins and growth. Central office location. This is a niche position, and the client is really looking for the right person for their team long term. Key Skills, Experience, & Abilities: 3 years of experience as an Estimator. Familiarity with the industrial sector, self-storage facilities, or commercial fit out environments is highly desirable. Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent attention to detail. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Ability to interrupt plans, specifications and scope documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (Revit, Bluebeam). Estimation experience with commercial fit outs, security systems, construction or general building maintain is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships across multiple stakeholders and internal teams. Ability to effectively lead a small team and ensure performance standards meet or exceed company expectations. Ability to leverage previous experience to improve team accuracy and efficiency. Team leadership experience desirable but not essential. Ideal traits the successful candidate will have: Team player who loves a challenge! Ready to take that next step in their career! Your Requirements: Trade or tertiary qualifications in construction, building services, or similar.
