About the Role & Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced Boilermaker for a workshop role in Revesby, mainly repairing and maintaining formwork and scaffold equipment (steel & aluminium).
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity - start casual for 3 months, with a permanent full-time offer for the right person.
The role is mostly repetitive repair work (around 75%), with some fabrication. This role suits someone who takes pride in solid, consistent workmanship.
You'll be part of a hands-on workshop team where teamwork, reliability and a good attitude are key.
Key Duties
* Structural steel fabrication and repairs
* Repairing aluminium and steel formwork/scaffold equipment
* MIG welding
* Sheet metal fabrication
* Working from CAD fabrication drawings (desirable)
* Operating a forklift to move materials
* Working independently, with labour support for larger jobs
* General yard duties and maintaining a clean workspace
What You'll Bring
* Trade-qualified Boilermaker
* 5+ years fabrication experience
* Experience repairing both aluminium and steel
* Ability to read CAD fabrication drawings (highly regarded)
* Valid forklift licence (essential)
* Strong time management and ability to work to schedule
* Willingness to assist where needed and adapt to changing priorities
* Own transport and driver's licence
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
* Ability to lift 20kg unaided
What's on Offer
* Penalty rates for OT and weekend work (ad-hoc only)
* 38 hours per week
* Casual hours: Mon–Thurs 6:00am–2:30pm | Fri 6:00am–12:00pm
* Permanent hours: Mon–Fri 6:00am–2:30pm
* 1 x RDO per month once permanent
* Immediate start
