**About the role**:
As a **Social/Case Worker** you will work within the **Hobart **region promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people by supporting and building the capacity of those adults responsible for their care. Key Assets Tasmania supports children and young people in foster care and works with vulnerable families whose children and young people are at risk of entering foster care.
Some of the core tasks of the role include, working in an assertive outreach model, in partnership with parents and members of the KEY CARE TEAM to help identify risk and safety concerns within a family, and to work collaboratively to address those concerns; improving the safety and well-being of children to enable them to remain with their families.
**About You**:
You have knowledge of children's services and the principles of safeguarding and demonstrated experience and commitment to a high standard of practice with a passion for ensuring quality and integrity and all that you do.
Additionally, you have demonstrated support and coaching experience, the ability to build and maintain, robust relationship with stakeholders and high energy, enthusiasm, and passion the role and industry.
