As our Human Resource Advisor, you will be a trusted partner to the business, supporting our on-site and office teams across the full employment lifecycle.
About the Role
This is a true generalist role. You’ll be involved in:
* Employee Relations – Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on workplace matters, performance, and conflict resolution
* Recruitment & Onboarding – Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, from job ads to offer letters and smooth onboarding experiences
* Industrial Relations – Work within the framework of relevant awards and agreements, with an understanding of Fair Work requirements
* Training & Development – Assist with developing fit for purpose training, development of training plans & coaching / mentoring of leaders
* Policy & Compliance – Help ensure policies are up to date and aligned with best practices and legislation
* HR Reporting & Systems – Continue the development of our newly implemented HRIS, including developing workflows, improving data management & reporting capability.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related discipline would be well regarded.
About You
We’re after someone confident, proactive, and ready to roll up their sleeves, with an ability to demonstrate the following:
* Experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR role
* Ability to define & interpret HR legislation and employment frameworks (Fair Work Act, NES, etc.)
* Proven experience supporting both white-collar and blue-collar workforces
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – ability to build rapport at all levels
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
* Sound knowledge of HRIS and MS Office Suite
* Experience with Lean (5s) is desirable
