THE ROLE As a Project Officer within the Maintenance Assurance and Property Condition team you are responsible for the identification of maintenance items across Homes Victoria's extensive asset portfolio and ensuring compliance of Homes Victoria maintenance contracts. The primary function of the role involves the assessment of property condition for existing and newly acquired properties for high priority programs including the High-rise Redevelopment Program. A high standard of building/trade knowledge, project co-ordination, computer literacy and contract acumen are required to adequately investigate and report on cost, quality, timeliness, and adherence to contract terms and building code. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE * Identify and report on property condition through desktop and on-site property inspections, initiate necessary maintenance works through Homes Victoria contractors and track works to completion. * Prepare detailed reports on property condition, including works required to meet Government standards. * Ensure appropriate maintenance processes are undertaken, measured against agreed contractual and service delivery standards.
