 
        
        S/4HANA Sales & Distribution Functional Expert
Contract for 12 months | Bowen Hills + WFH
We're working with a leading Queensland government client to recruit an experienced S/4HANA Sales & Distribution Functional Expert. In this role you will work as part of a specialist delivery team in the Central Pharmacy Future State (CPFS) Project.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
 * Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Queensland Public Service values, to which the client is aligned.
 * Actively manage a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, and ethical behaviour.
 * Engage and collaborate with the project team and key stakeholders to understand business requirements, process challenges, and system needs.
 * Develop fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.
 * Ensure solutions are scalable and adaptable to future business needs and technology upgrades.
 * Analyse the existing S/4HANA Sales and Distribution configuration to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and delivered efficiently and effectively.
 * Design and configure Sales and Distribution components including sales orders, contracts, pricing, delivery, and billing.
What we're looking for?
 * Extensive demonstrable experience in:
 * Supply chain business practices and IT solutions.
 * Business process design/redesign, and implementation within the Sales and Distribution domain.
 * Strong understanding of the order-to-cash process, including sales orders, pricing, contracts, delivery, billing, and returns.
 * Gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into system designs, and developing relevant system development lifecycle documentation (e.g. configuration and functional specifications).
 * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
 * Conducting fit gap assessments to evaluate solution feasibility.
 * SAP implementations across the full lifecycle — from design through to post-go-live support.
 * SAP configuration experience in S/HANA in Sales and Distribution.
 * Integrating Sales and Distribution with other modules such as MM, FI, EWM, and external systems.
 * Demonstrated capability to assess complex supply chain requirements, develop and communicate solution options, and implement fit-for-purpose process and system changes.
 * Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills, including the ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences.
