About The Role
Reporting to the Reliability Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Technician to work across either afternoon (3pm-11pm) or night shift (11pm-7am) and provide technical support to the site on breakdowns and projects.
Key to your success is your strong problem-solving skills and experience with systems, PLC programming, industrial networking, vision systems as well as robotic programming.
Responsibilities
* Improve workforce productivity by eliminating potential delays by providing technical support and fault finding of electrical and automation issues.
* Supervise electrical work, installation and contractors
* Carry our scheduled maintenance
* Active participation in Continuous Improvement and ad-hoc projects
* Coach production team members to better understand machine principles and their impacts
* Maintain accurate documentation and records
* Actively contribute and demonstrate commitment to maintaining a culture that is aligned with company values
About you
* An electrical licensed with similar experience in a manufacturing environment
* PLC fault finding & knowledge of PLCs and network communication.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&ID's
* Strong analytical & problem-solving
