Exp passionate Disability Support Workers casual positions Shepparton Direct support and group programs – shifts Monday – Friday Great team environment, Competitive Salary with NFP Salary Packaging options About the role VMCH Disability Services Shepparton provides direct care 1:1 support and group programs for adults living with a disability in a friendly, engaging environment. About you You will be an experienced Disability Support Worker who enjoys working with participants in both one-on-one and adult group program settings. In this role, you will provide in-home support, including assisting with daily routines, meal preparation and personal care. You will also support clients with community access, such as attending medical appointments, grocery shopping and engaging in social and community-based activities. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in our group programs, including cooking groups, social nights and a variety of community outings. These casual shifts are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, some evening shifts also available. You must have a full Victorian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. Role requirements Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability or similar Previous experience in Disability or Community sector Passion for working with adults with a disability Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Current full Victorian Driver licence NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate Ability to work casual shifts Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm, some weekend and evening shifts.
