The Opportunity
Due to a large pipeline of projects, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our growing team. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in civil construction who thrives on delivering complex, high-performance projects in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and coordinating day-to-day site operations,
* Ensuring works are completed in line with project programs, budgets and specifications,
* Supervising subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity and quality,
* Monitoring and enforcing work health and safety requirements on site,
* Ensuring site presentation, cleanliness and compliance with statutory requirements,
* Coordinating plant, materials and resources to meet project timelines,
* Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement processes,
* Communicating effectively with Project Managers, Engineers and stakeholders,
* Identifying and reporting variations, risks and project issues,
* Assisting with progress claims, site records and project documentation,
* Conducting site meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings,
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
About You
* Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in site management within the civil construction industry,
* Proven track record managing infrastructure or engineering projects of varying complexity,
* Strong leadership and organisational skills with a hands-on approach,
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities,
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes,
* Certificate or qualification in Construction or a related field (preferred),
* Relevant certifications (White Card, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Silica).
