Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Passenger Tyre Fitter located in Canberra. The Passenger Tyre Fitter will be responsible for tyre fitting on various vehicles, performing wheel alignments and balancing, conducting inspections and maintenance for tyres, brakes, and suspension systems, and ensuring all services meet safety and quality standards. Additional tasks may include proper tool usage, maintaining the workshop, and assisting with customer inquiries.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in tyre fitting, wheel alignment, and balancing
* Basic knowledge of suspension systems, brake servicing, and general vehicle maintenance
* Ability to use specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose tyre-related issues
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including heavy lifting
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
