It's been an incredible year since we opened Cheol's East Perth, and thanks to the amazing support from our local community, we're growing fast.
We're now looking for a 2IC Barista, someone who genuinely loves coffee, brings great energy to the floor, and can help lead the team day-to-day. Barista experience is a must, but we're looking just as much for attitude, leadership potential, and care for people.
What we're looking for
You're someone who:
* Has strong barista experience (able to handle busy service + consistent quality)
* Has a real passion for coffee and wants to keep improving
* Brings a positive attitude, calm under pressure, and leads by example
* Loves connecting with customers and building community
* Has a growth mindset open to feedback and helping others improve
* Is reliable, organised, and takes ownership of standards
* Availability: 5 days a week (Mon - Fri hours for the right person
What the role includes (2IC)
* Supporting the manager and head barista with day-to-day operations
* Leading the bar during service and setting the standard
* Helping train and develop junior baristas
* Keeping coffee workflow, cleanliness, and customer experience on point
* Being a strong culture person - good vibes, good habits, good leadership
