Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Service Engineer for someone based in Central Queensland, to service the Bowen Basin. The Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, field service, technical support, of our Gas monitoring and Conveyor Safety Control Systems..
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and account management to mining clients in the Bowen Basin.Conduct regular site visits to ensure optimal service delivery and client satisfaction.Deliver technical and operational training to site personnel to enhance their understanding and use of Austdac products and services.Collaborate with the broader Austdac Engineering team to address and resolve client challenges, ensuring solutions are practical, cost-effective, and timely.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges to better serve them.Prepare reports and documentation regarding client interactions, issues resolved, and suggestions for product/system improvement.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mining and engineering.Experience / Background
Ideally the candidate will have experience in a service engineering role, preferably in the mining or in a harsh/hazardous industry.The ability to analyse a situation and troubleshoot.Communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel to client sites within the Bowen Basin.Current driver's license
