OverviewWe are looking for a talented Senior Credit Analyst to join our Scoresby team.
You will be responsible for credit management and the preparation of credit reporting, planning and forecasting for an entity or region within a business segment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare entity or region credit reporting, planning and forecasting.Analyse credit exposures of an entity or region of a business segment.Understand trade finance and credit management skills to support the business.Perform credit-worthiness reviews on current and existing accounts at the entity or region level in line with Corporate Policy, ensuring minimal risk to the business.Support the standardization of processes where possible within applicable entities or within a region across the business unit.Develop and produce regional or global reports to monitor Accounts Receivable performance against approved business segment credit limits.Prepare metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting for the entity or region, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports as required.Partner with sales/commercial function on key business growth needs by providing credit/financial support.Encourage cross business segment communication on credit issues involving common customers within the region to develop risk mitigation strategies.Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders to optimize customer experience.Support the implementation of Corporate Credit Policies and assure audit compliance against them.Lead special projects to improve Accounts Receivable credit systems, reporting and processes.Implement and manage the reporting and analysis of credit risk strategies and receivables performance health metrics with a focus on continuous improvement.Responsible for audit of credit notes raised by the business to ensure compliance.Manage the internal and external audit reviews of our department.Interpret credit policy, guidelines and procedures, particularly with respect to both compliance and performance reporting.Understand, implement and monitor PPSR Strategy.QualificationsFinancial acumen - Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.Situational adaptability - Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.Credit Management - Assesses customer credit worthiness and risk to ensure that credit limits support sales strategies while maximizing accounts receivable collectability and minimizing bad debt balances; evaluates business opportunities to maximize sales without taking on undue balance sheet risks; analyzes customer payment performance to identify potential risks in order to optimize collection efficiency and minimize bad debts.Financial Analysis - Interprets financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impact to drive business improvement; evaluates financial results against targets to communicate conclusions to all stakeholders; ensures integrity of financial data by investigating variances and determining corrective actions to resolve identified issues.BenefitsA competitive Salary packageGrowth and development opportunitiesFlexibility to promote a work life balanceIncome Protection continuance insuranceDiscounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehiclesParticipation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) programA range of personal and professional benefitsEmployee Assistance Program available to employeesNoteWe are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
