12th May, 2026 Technical Writer / Process Plant Procedures Coordinator Join a Leading Gold Mining Operation We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer / Process Plant Procedures Coordinator To support a major gold processing operation in Western Australia. This role is critical in ensuring operational clarity, compliance, and consistency across plant procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation. This is an opportunity to work closely with site-based operations, maintenance, metallurgy, and engineering teams within a high-performing gold production environment. About the Role Reporting to the Processing Services leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate and user-friendly process plant documentation. You will play a key role in standardising operating procedures and ensuring documentation aligns with operational requirements, safety systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work across a range of plant areas including crushing, grinding, leaching, CIL/CIP circuits, reagents, tailings, and maintenance interfaces. Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for process plant operations Coordinate and manage plant documentation across operations, maintenance, and technical teams Engage with operators, supervisors, metallurgists, and engineers to capture accurate process information Ensure all documentation is aligned with site safety systems, isolation procedures, and compliance standards Support continuous improvement initiatives through clear and consistent procedural documentation Assist in shutdown and commissioning documentation updates where required Maintain document control standards and version integrity across all procedures Translate complex technical and metallurgical processes into clear, practical operational guidance Support audits, risk reviews, and operational readiness activities About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Proven experience as a Technical Writer or Procedures Coordinator within mining or mineral processing environments Strong understanding of gold processing plants (e.g. crushing, grinding, leaching, CIL/CIP, tailings systems) Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, or operations manuals in a plant environment Ability to interpret technical and operational information and translate it into clear documentation Strong stakeholder engagement skills across operations, maintenance, and engineering teams High attention to detail and strong document control capability Familiarity with safety systems and risk-based work practices in mining operations Strong written communication and organisational skills Highly Desirable Experience working on gold operations in WA or similar hard rock mining environments Exposure to shutdowns, commissioning, or plant ramp-up environments Understanding of metallurgical processes and plant performance drivers Experience using document control systems or technical writing platforms Why Apply?
