Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist at Menzies Anxiety Centre
We are seeking a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a contractor at the Menzies Anxiety Centre in Five Dock.
The Menzies Anxiety Centre was established to meet the growing demand for treatment of death anxiety and related conditions such as OCD, health anxiety, specific phobias, PTSD, and panic disorder. In addition to our focus on anxiety, we offer general mental health services for a range of conditions and receive a steady stream of varied referrals.
The Role
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, dedicated, and able to work independently as a contractor. We are specifically looking for a psychologist who is available to work on Saturdays and a minimum of one additional day (Monday and/or Thursday). Saturday appointments are in high demand and clinicians receive a higher consultation rate for weekend sessions.
You will be able to work 2 to 3 days a week as a contractor, depending on your preferred number of days. Flexible working hours are available, with consulting rooms in the morning, afternoon, or for the full day. The start date is flexible.

Essential criteria
* Registration with AHPRA as a clinical psychologist or psychologist
* Completed either a Master or Doctorate of Clinical Psychology
* Registered Medicare provider (or eligible to apply)
* Strong grounding in evidence-based practice, including competence with CBT for mood and anxiety disorders
* Interest in death anxiety and existential issues
* Availability to work 2-3 days each week, including Saturdays (option of Monday and/or Thursday)
Desirable criteria
* Previous experience working independently in a private practice setting
