Job Description:
As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred resident care and leadership support to staff on Night Duty shifts. Your duties will include:
* Providing guidance and support to the care team and acting as a mentor in their development
* Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures
* Working collaboratively with management to achieve expected ACFI results and organisational targets
* Encouraging genuine connections between residents, families and staff
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A current AHPRA registration (Bachelor of Nursing or higher)
* The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
* An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration and the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
