As Events Operations Manager, you'll oversee end-to-end event delivery, lead a high-performing team, and ensure flawless execution for corporate functions, weddings, and gala events.
Job Description
Lead and manage all aspects of event operations for corporate functions, weddings, graduations, gala dinners, charity events, and private celebrations.
Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management, including apprentices and casual staff.
Implement KPIs and operational processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with service standards and deliver training on sequence of service.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving customer service issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to streamline operations and maintain quality.
Be available for after-hours and weekend events as required.
The Successful Applicant
3-5 years of experience in event operations within hospitality or similar environments.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
Strong customer management and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and time management capabilities.
Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset for operational improvement.
Experience with high-profile venues or hospitality groups is highly regarded.
