Specialist Nurse in Alcohol and Other Drugs
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Nurse to join our team in providing person-centered specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level for individuals affected by substance use.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership, support and supervision for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
* Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions and support lasting change.
* Use best practice evidence to inform your practice and provide high-quality care.
* Demonstrate effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means and sound interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Relevant post-registration qualifications in Alcohol & Other Drugs.
* A minimum of three years' experience working in the clinical speciality.
