About the opportunity
The Manager, Curriculum Performance partners with Academic Portfolios and Academic Units to support curriculum quality, performance, and sustainability. The role also supports cross-portfolio coordination of curriculum performance frameworks, ensuring consistent implementation, benchmarking, and reporting across Academic Units and campuses. The role uses data and curriculum systems to monitor course and unit outcomes, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and supporting alignment with institutional priorities.
What you'll do:
* Provide strategic advice and insight on curriculum performance, regulatory compliance, risk analysis and student experience.
* Drive curriculum quality improvements and develop targeted quality improvement plans in partnership with Academic Units.
* Lead study plan optimisation and ensure courses and curriculum are accurately configured and consistently represented across systems.
* Curriculum performance reporting, including analysis of student demographics, academic performance, curriculum choices and performance metrics.
* Ensure academic governance, quality assurance and curriculum delivery processes are implemented effectively and in accordance with University policies and regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for:
* Detailed knowledge of the needs of higher education students, and higher education issues, developments, and trends.
* High-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present effectively to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong data analysis, reporting, and evaluative skills to provide high-level advice and inform decision-making.
* Experience in policy development and implementation, and quality assurance, accreditation and risk management processes.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 9 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $160,613 comprising base salary within the range of $130,242 to $137,276 plus 17% superannuation.
