Inventory Control Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to oversee the efficient movement of stock within our Adelaide-based warehouse.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Picking and packing orders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Unpacking, moving, and replenishing stock in accordance with company guidelines, minimizing waste and optimizing storage capacity.
* Utilizing RF scanning technology to accurately pick orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and streamline workflows.
* Loading and unloading trucks, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Performing general Warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and dispatching stock, as required.
Key Requirements:
* Hold a valid High Risk Forklift (LF) ticket, demonstrating expertise in operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
* Possess warehouse experience, preferably in a similar role, showcasing knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
* Display proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Demonstrate experience in a physically demanding role, highlighting adaptability, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
* Exhibit ability to work unsupervised, exercising initiative and autonomy, while also contributing effectively as part of a small team.
