About the role We are growing our team and looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our LifeWorks service based in our beautiful Townsville team.
This role is part of a multidisciplinary team that supports people to achieve social and economic participation in their community. *New Graduates and experienced Therapists welcomed to apply *
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with a range of stakeholders within a therapeutic support framework.
* Tailoring services that are individualised & strength based.
* Develop, implement and review therapy needs, intervention plans and strategies with clients, family, carers, and their service providers.
* Conduct and complete reports as required
About you You are a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a positive impact in the community.
Essential criteria:
* Degree qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
* Experienced working with a variety of disabilities, including those that require complex supports.
* Knowledgeable and experienced in the development and implementation of occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment
* Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
