Stellar Recruitment, in partnership with Enaex Australia, is seeking an experienced Shotfirers to join an exciting Xpress Crew for blasting operations across various sites. As a key member of this team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out shotfiring operations. With travel, flights, and accommodation provided, this is a great opportunity for a skilled professional who loves variety in their work and is ready to make an impact across multiple locations.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Carry out surface shotfiring operations, ensuring compliance with blast plans and safety regulations.
2. Manage the delivery, storage, and use of explosives, maintaining strict inventory control.
3. Supervise blast personnel during loading operations, tie-ins, and blast initiation.
4. Monitor and manage post-blast activities, ensuring safety for re-entry.
5. Identify and manage risks associated with blasting, including misfires and fume events.
6. Contribute to continuous safety improvement and compliance with company policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a Shotfirer in a mining environment.
2. Strong knowledge of explosive handling, blasting procedures, and safety protocols.
3. A solid understanding of risk management and the ability to assess and control hazardous situations.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a mobile team.
5. A commitment to safety and a ‘Zero Harm’ culture.
Essential Requirements:
1. Current Shotfirer License (State Specific).
2. Open Class Manual Driver’s License.
3. Relevant State Security and Police checks.
4. S11 & Coal Board Medical.
5. RIIBLA201A – Support Shotfirer Operations.
6. RIIBLA301A – Conduct Surface Shotfiring Operations.
7. RIIRIS301A – Apply Risk Management Processes.
8. RIICOM301A – Communicate Information.
