We're looking for a Territory Sales Manager - Commercial Equine & Ag Retail based in the Hunter Valley, to represent Pryde's and CopRice, part of the SunRice portfolio, across the Hunter Valley and broader NSW equine industry. This is a relationship‐led, industry‐immersed role where credibility, passion and presence matter just as much as results.
While the role includes responsibility for our Ag Retail portfolio (Pryde's, CopRice and SavourLife) in the Hunter Valley, around 95% of volume is equine, and that's where you'll spend most of your time building trust and growing the business.
This role isn't confined by postcodes – you'll be where the industry is, from studs and trainers, to yearling sales and race days, with the autonomy to own outcomes, supported by a collaborative Commercial Equine, Nutrition and Regional Retail team.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Acting as a trusted and credible ambassador for Pryde's and CopRice within the NSW breeding and racing industries
* Building, maintaining and growing long‐term relationships with studs, trainers and key industry influencers
* Proactively identifying and converting new Commercial Equine opportunities across NSW
* Attending and supporting key industry events including sales, race days and sponsored activities
* Working closely with the Commercial Equine RSM and Nutrition team to deliver tailored, value‐based feeding solutions
* Managing and growing relationships with Ag Retail stores across the Hunter Valley
* Driving distribution, ranging, visibility and in‐store execution across the SunRice regional retail portfolio
* Delivering agreed call coverage, activations and sales targets with strong planning and follow‐through
* Maintaining accurate reporting, organisation and territory discipline while flexing to industry needs
About You
You bring strong equine industry knowledge and credibility, with the confidence to engage authentically with breeders, trainers and industry partners. You're commercially curious, comfortable owning your patch, and build trust naturally – whether you call it sales or simply doing right by your customers.
You're capable of working autonomously and backing your judgement, while actively leaning into the team – asking questions, sharing ideas and collaborating to deliver the best outcomes. You understand that in this industry, relationships, timing and trust are everything.
You also enjoy building retail partnerships, balancing industry presence with disciplined execution, and representing SunRice brands with pride.

* Experience in sales, territory or account management (Ag Retail experience is a bonus)
