* HEW 7 - $100,779 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation
About the role
Ensure ongoing management and development of the University's Data Infrastructure by managing data pipelines and software platforms.
* develop and manage our data infrastructure systems;
* analyse data to design relatable data models for the data warehouse;
* create data assets and support data consumers who use them;
* monitor and ensure data pipelines are working reliably and effectively; and
* ensure system processes, procedures and code are documented, source controlled and kept up to date.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:
* experience in data management or integration, analysing data asset requirements and developing complex data pipelines;
* ability to write and optimise complex SQL queries and create efficient data extract/transform/load (ETL) programs and tasks;
* design skills and a high level of expertise in complex systems analysis, problem solving and design for development of solutions; and
* ability to read, contribute to and produce accurate and relevant documentation and code.
