The Opportunity
At Auswide Bank, we are seeking someone who has experience supervising staff and preferably banking experience to join our Support Services team and play a key role in leading our Lending Services function. This role supports the Head of Support Services and is responsible for leading a team to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality lending support outcomes across the Bank.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with their team, supporting operational delivery, and building strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation.
Your Impact
* Lead and support a team within Lending Services, ensuring daily workflows are managed effectively
* Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management to support individual and team success
* Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and third-party providers
* Ensure lending processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with policy and legislative requirements
* Answer complex lending, operational, and customer enquiries
* Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
* Support projects and ad-hoc initiatives as required
* Step in to assist with operational tasks during peak periods, including authorisations, documentation, loan maintenance, reporting, and interactions with custodians
What You Bring
* Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a lending or banking operations environment
* Knowledge of lending services processes, policies, and compliance obligations
* A collaborative, organised, and approachable leadership style
* Proven ability to manage workflows, priorities, and team performance
* Sound understanding of consumer credit and real property legislation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
