About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our passionate team at Regis The Gap. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, as well as supporting and educating other staff members.
You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. You will also have the opportunity to participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Nursing Care:
* Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care and vital sign monitoring.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet residents' needs and preferences.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
* Participate in resident and family education, promoting empowerment and autonomy.
* Teamwork and Leadership:
* Support and educate other staff members on nursing practices and procedures.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
* Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer service.
* Mentor and guide junior staff members to promote skill development and confidence.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
* Capacity to lead and motivate others.
* Demonstrated experience in aged care or a related field.
