Cleveland Education and Training Centre (CETC) is a Department of Education school operating within the Cleveland Youth Detention Centre in Townsville. Positions are based within the youth detention environment, with a student to teacher ratio of 1:4. Youth workers attend all classes to support students and ensure the safety of staff. The Centre's catchment area extends north from Rockhampton, west to the Queensland border, and includes island communities off the Queensland coastline.
