 
        
        Document Controller Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of controlled documentation across all project stakeholders, contractors, and third parties.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Support the document and records management team in analyzing, recommending, mapping, and implementing document and/or records management work processes and data flows throughout the project lifecycle.
 * Work closely with project teams, functional teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure procedures and work processes deliver the required level of information.
 * Register, control, distribute, transmit, file, and archive project records using the Project Document Management System (Aconex).
 * Maintain access to Aconex and perform other tasks associated with Aconex administration as necessary.
 * E nsure all project documents align with the issued records retention and turnover plan and update as necessary.
 * Support training, implementation, assessments, and improvements.
 * Process a high volume of systems implementation, construction, supplier, and commercial documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
 * Bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
 * Demonstrated document control experience on large, complex projects.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proper use of syntax.
 * A minimum of five years' experience in document control, preferably with Aconex, with recent experience.
 * Intermediate to advanced proficiency using web-based file transfer applications, such as SharePoint Online or OneDrive.
 * Basic to intermediate proficiency using standard office automation and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power BI.
