As Functions Manager, you'll step into a high‑profile venue during an exciting transition period for the business, helping us elevate premium functions and deliver unforgettable guest experiences across iconic race days and year‑round events.

What will you do?
* Brief teams, align service standards with client expectations, and oversee timing and execution for each event
* Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely, high‑quality food and beverage service
* Manage stock ordering, resource planning, and day‑of logistics in line with quoted packages
* Monitor client satisfaction in real time and resolve issues promptly to protect the guest experience
* Track product usage, staffing efficiency, and service delivery to identify opportunities for cost and revenue optimisation
* Set clear expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and support recruitment and rostering of team members
More about you
* Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business or a related field (preferred)
* Experience in premium food and beverage operations, within functions and/or corporate hospitality, with proven team leadership
* Demonstrated experience in stock ordering, cost control and client relationship management
* Hold RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certification or be willing to obtain these
