Key Responsibilities
* Enhance the wellness and lifestyle capacity of residents through exercise and activities focused on restorative and rehabilitative programs.
* Deliver exercise and therapy programs both 1:1 and in small groups in accordance with the Physiotherapist's care plan.
* Assist with client assessments and re-assessments of their physical capabilities as part of their exercise and therapy programs.
* Ensure residents have access to assistive devices as assessed by the physiotherapist.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as equipment ordering and liaison with family members.
* Contribute to facility cleanliness.
* Report relevant changes to the Physiotherapist regarding resident progress with exercises.
* Notify the Registered Nurse or Facility Manager of any changes in resident health or behavior immediately.
* Support other physical activities delivered by the Lifestyle team.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
* Proficiency in computer and phone technology (including Microsoft Office and Outlook).
* Current State full driver's license.
* Up-to-date vaccinations or willingness to obtain them as required.
* VIC Only - NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC or ability to obtain.
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* Current 'Provide First Aid' Certificate and CPR certification.
* Physical capability to perform stated duties.
