Overview
Head of Practice
BaptistCare seeks a Head of Practice to lead practice excellence across our community services, housing and aged care programs. Reporting to the General Manager - Practice, Clinical Care and Governance, you’ll lead a high-performing team of senior practitioners and partner with leaders across BaptistCare to drive best practice care at every level of the organisation. This is a national-based role with a requirement to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
* Leading design and implementation of national practice models aligned with trauma-informed and person-centred principles
* Develop practice tools and resources supporting consistent, high-quality frontline delivery
* Support innovation and continuous improvement in service models and practice delivery
* Build strong partnerships with operational leaders, governance teams, and external partners
* Oversee supervision frameworks and specialist consultation models across all programs
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
* Provide values-aligned leadership to a team of practice and governance specialists
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, allied health, or related field
* Senior leadership experience in practice oversight within community, aged care, or housing sectors
* Proven track record developing evidence-informed practice models
* Strong capability leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing frameworks
* Understanding of legislative and regulatory environments across our service sectors
