Full-Time | Central Dunedin
Our client, a well-established professional services firm based in central Dunedin, is seeking a highly capable Personal Assistant to support their Management Team in a busy, collaborative environment. This is a high-trust position requiring discretion, initiative, and strong organisational skills.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives on organisation, communicates confidently, and enjoys being an integral part of a close-knit team. This role also provides back-up payroll support, so confidence working with sensitive financial information is essential.

About the Role

As Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. Key responsibilities include:

* Managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence for the Management Team
* Coordinating appointments and schedules
* Liaising with third parties including banks and lawyers
* Assisting with annual accounts preparation and distribution
* Supporting Managers with client information gathering
* Typing correspondence, reports, file notes, and documentation
* Invoicing fees and disbursements
* Tax administration support
* Preparing and issuing provisional and terminal tax notices
* Ensuring final declarations and minutes are signed and returned.
* Following up third party enquiries
* Reception support and daily mail processing
* Providing payroll back-up support
* General administrative assistance as required by the Management Team
You will bring:
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
* Confidence liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
* A collaborative, team-focused approach
* Previous experience in administration within a professional services environment (preferred)
* Comfort handling payroll processes and confidential information.
