The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time, permanent Import Customer Service Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading and supporting the Import Customer Services Team to deliver outstanding performance and high‑quality customer service.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Assign and monitor employee workload
* Ensure all team members are trained in company systems and departmental procedures
* Provide support, guidance and recognition to employees
* Conduct annual performance management, including objective setting and performance appraisals
* Actively contribute to internal departmental cooperation
* Establish and monitor team KPIs
* Assist employees with daily tasks when short staffed or during high workload
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 3 years' shipping experience
* Supervisory or management experience is an advantage
* Computer literacy in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong problem-solving ability with the capacity to identify issues, analyse options and implement solutions
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
