Expected salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Delicatessen Manager to lead the opening and daily operations of our new deli. This role will be responsible for setting up the business, managing staff, overseeing quality and service, and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day deli operations including food preparation, display, and service.
Recruit, train, and manage team members.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
Manage stock levels, supplier orders, and product presentation.
Drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Support the launch and growth of the deli brand.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in deli, hospitality, or food retail management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of Italian and European specialty foods (preferred).
Organised, hands-on, and customer-focused.
