Light Vehicle Mechanic – Motorhome Rental Branch

As part of our continued growth in the Northern Territory, we are seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to support our Darwin Rental Branch, maintaining and repairing our motorhome and campervan fleet to the highest safety and quality standards. We welcome applications from apprentices through to fully qualified Cert III, IV or V mechanics.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or working towards)
* Post‐apprenticeship experience in vehicle maintenance and repair (minimum 1 year)
* At least 1 year relevant industry experience
* Strong mechanical servicing, fault‐finding, reporting and repair skills
* Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
* Knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension
* Experience using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
* C Class Driver's Licence and relevant trade certification (or part‐qualified)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a high‐performing team
What You'll Do
* Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs and mechanical servicing in line with thl quality and safety standards
* Support refurbishments and vehicle deliveries to Retail
* Assist the Darwin Rental branch during high‐tempo operational periods
* Manage parts inventory, conduct stocktakes and liaise with suppliers
* Complete administrative tasks including ordering parts, raising purchase orders and managing supplier relationships
* Communicate effectively with the Branch Manager and wider team to meet daily operational targets
* Maintain a safe workplace by adhering to all WHS policies and procedures
