Are you passionate about providing timely and accurate support for invoice processing, document administration, and payments? Shell Energy is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Brisbane team on a 12-month contract basis.
In this role, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices across multiple entities within the Shell Energy group. You will manage payment routines, reconcile vendor accounts, and handle data file tasks. Additionally, you will perform general administrative duties, maintain accounts payable records, and assist with reporting and supporting the Accounts Payable Manager.
With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:
* Ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time across multiple entities within the Shell Energy group.
* Creating weekly and ad hoc payment routines.
* Reconciling vendor accounts.
* Extracting and uploading data files.
* Performing general administrative duties such as responding to email queries and filing.
* Maintaining accounts payable records, including emails, invoices, statements, and other relevant documentation (predominantly electronic filing).
* Assisting with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
Here's what you'll need to thrive in this role:
* Accounts Payable experience within a large organization.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team, with a focus on results.
* Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail, high accuracy, and proficiency in Excel; SAP experience preferred.
