Fulton Hogan is a leader in delivering high-quality infrastructure. We are seeking an Accountant to join our Construction team based in Melbourne.
As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the regional finances. You will be responsible for assisting with financial management, identifying opportunities to improve and streamline current systems and processes, and engaging with key stakeholders across the business.
* You will assist project teams with end-of-month job status reporting, cost actuals, forecasting, and other adjustment journals.
* You will assist cost code owners with the review of transaction reports and prepare journal entries and accruals as required.
* You will assist the Regional Finance team in preparing month-end management reports.
* You will assist in the collation and submission of the region's annual FBT return.
* You will assist with reporting on and monitoring cash flow.
* You will perform general ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will hold tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting and be a member or working towards becoming a member of either the Institute of Chartered Accountants or Certified Practising Accountants.
You will have experience working as an Accountant in a civil construction/infrastructure or engineering company, ideally.
The salary banding for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation.
