Aviation Maintenance Expert Required
We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on jet and/or turboprop aircraft models. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose malfunctions and disassemble, rework, repair, replace, reassemble or adjust various aircraft systems to ensure the aircraft is mechanically sound for flight.
This role requires expertise in checking, correcting or replacing complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner systems, pressurization systems, and optional equipment installations. You will also be responsible for repairing or replacing engine components and accessory items such as fuel control units, air bleed systems, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic pumps.
To succeed in this position, you must have knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals. Additionally, you will perform modification work on aircraft systems and structures and maintain accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports, and parts identification for issue and return documents.
You will conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, alignment, and preventive maintenance on same. It is essential to perform duties consistent with the latest state-of-the-art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for customers' safety.
The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills and use tools such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and hand tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies.
