ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Polisher/Detailer to join our Toowoomba site (28 Wylie St, Toowoomba City QLD 4350). In this role, you will be responsible for buffing, de-nibbing, polishing, and detailing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Inspecting vehicles for paint defects, imperfections, or damage prior to polishing or detailing
* Performing paint correction techniques such as denibbing, buffing, and polishing to remove surface imperfections and achieve a high-quality finish
* Using appropriate tools and equipment such as dual-action polishers, rotary buffers, denibbing blocks, pressure washers, and vacuums
* Detailing vehicles inside and out, including washing, vacuuming, and cleaning glass, trims, and surfaces
* Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations
* Maintaining a tidy workspace and correctly disposing of waste materials
* Assisting with general workshop tasks or supporting other team members when required
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in a similar role in the Automotive Industry is highly desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience or willingness to be upskilled in priming/prepping paint skill in the Automotive Industry is also highly desirable.
* Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety practices.
* Appropriate Australian Working Rights.
* Valid Drivers Licence
