We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director, Faculty Marketing to lead all faculty education and research marketing activity.
The role is responsible for developing and delivering insight driven marketing programs that build reputation, strengthen the Deakin brand and drive demand for coursework and graduate research programs.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, including Executive Deans, the Director translates university strategy into effective operational delivery that supports student recruitment, conversion and market share growth.
Leading the faculty marketing and research marketing teams, the role ensures high‐quality, evidence‐based services that are strategically aligned and delivered efficiently & effectively within a complex university environment.
As Director, Faculty Marketing, you will:
* Lead faculty marketing and research marketing strategy across all channels.
* Drive student recruitment and conversion strategies.
* Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships to align marketing priorities.
* Lead, develop and motivate teams to deliver high‐quality outcomes.
* Oversee services, systems and initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
* Manage financial, operational and people resources responsibly.
* Establish governance, planning, reporting and risk management frameworks.
* Lead change and embed sustainable improvements.
* Use market insights and data analysis to inform strategy and measure effectiveness.
* Lead stakeholder engagement, communications planning and content development.
To be successful, you'll have:
* Extensive experience leading a significant function or portfolio in a complex organisation.
* Proven ability to translate strategy into operational outcomes.
* Strong leadership and capability development experience.
* Demonstrated financial and resource management expertise.
* Experience in governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
