Randstad Melbourne are partnered with a very busy contractor continuously delivering on Victoria's most significant Infrastructure projects in Melbourne.
Your Role & Responsibilities
* Overseeing the daily execution of FRP packages, ensuring all formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement meets project specifications.
* Leading and mentoring onsite crews, including direct labour and subcontractors, to hit production targets safely.
* Coordinating with project engineers and managers to interpret structural drawings and formwork designs.
* Managing onsite logistics, including the scheduling of plant, material deliveries, and concrete pours.
* Maintaining rigorous safety and quality assurance documentation in line with Tier 1 project requirements.
* Monitoring project timelines and proactively identifying potential risks or delays to the program.
* Conducting daily pre-starts and toolboxes to ensure clear communication of site goals and safety hazards.
To be successful, you should possess experience as a Supervisor within the civil construction industry, specifically specialising in formwork and structural concrete. Experience working under the requirements of Tier 1 principal contractors is essential, as is the ability to manage complex logistics within a live infrastructure environment. You should possess strong communication skills, a trade background, and the leadership capability to drive a crew toward daily targets.
