Altrad’s multidisciplinary services range from engineering and technical services to maintenance, access solutions and specialised services for industry leaders.About the OpportunityThe Material and Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of material flow and logistics operations. In this key role, you will ensure the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials, equipment, and assets, working closely with the Site Team to support production and operational requirements.Your day-to-day includes:Lead and supervise the materials and logistics team, including warehousing, storage, delivery operations, goods receiving, and performance management.Oversee timely goods receipting via ERP software (PRONTO) and coordinate with clients for goods receipting through SAP.Expedite the issuance of purchase orders and ensure prompt receipt of goods/services from suppliers after client approvals.Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of materials.Oversee subcontractor personnel, plant and equipment servicing, and vehicle/equipment refueling activities.Monitor and manage inventory, PPE stocks, transport services for C&I labour, and vehicle servicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with procurement, planning, execution, and client teams to optimize material availability, logistics performance, and cost reduction, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.About you5+ years Site based experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas and LNG industry is highly desirableStrong knowledge of supply chain, inventory control, and logistics principlesQualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience is desired)Quality Assurance experience is desirableProcess and procedure driven with proven experienceProven leadership and team management experienceExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProven proficient MS Office skills, with a focus on Word, Excel and OutlookStrong initiative and ability to work effectively both independently and within team environmentMust currently live local in Darwin, and able to work a local rosterWhy you should work for AltradWe provide the benefits you’d expect from a global company, but what makes us different?Our work.
